sorceress magical witch mystic graphic

Hi dear friends...I apologize for my absence without any explanations to you.  One morning I woke up and all I wanted to post about was the state of the world...sad, scary stuff.
One morning I woke up and lot's of things were happening in my personal and art world, including the sudden deaths of two people I cared about deeply.
So I took a break...one I didn't even think about...just needed too
...my brain was on overload
But today is a new day...
and I hope you will come and read, share your thoughts again as I return to sharing mine..
xoxo

and now my first offering in a very long time
hope you like it as much as I do.

Syriac Aramaic Manuscript of the Gospels...
This is a translation of the Lord's Pray from Aramaic....the test was translated from the

O Birther! Father-Mother of the Cosmos,
you create all that moves in light

O Thou!  The Breathing Life of all,
Creator of the Shimmering Sound that touches us.

Respiration of all worlds,
we hear you breathing-in and out - in Silence.

Source of Sound: in the roar and the whisper,
in the breeze and the whirlwind,
we hear your Name.

Radiant One:  You shine within us,
outside us - even darkness shines - when we remember.

Name of names, our small identity
unravels in you, you give it back as a lesson.

Wordless Action, Silent Potency -
where ears and eyes awaken,
there heaven comes.

O Birther!  Father-Mother of the Cosmos!

blessings and peace! welcome back, you were indeed missed!

life is very precious and the deaths of those we love and care about bring great sadness. but perhaps they can also serve to remind us that each day is a gift, not for what we can do with it, but simply for what it is!

we are all dying. be our death days or decades away, there is no avoiding it. we must remember that our love affair with life must not be conditional. it must welcome everything: the suffing and the compassion; the crassness and the widsom; the brutality and the beauty; the disappointments and the triumphs!

life itself is a precious gift. and so is death. for they are one and the same and cannot be separated.

welcome home!

Welcome back Julie giving you a big hug...

The prayer you have shared is akin to a beautiful work of poetry.

It is almost like a Rumi poem.

just breathtaking.

thank you

Beloved...I'm so sorry for your loss!!! I totally understand the need for a break as I've just been through it myself.

I've long loved the Aramaic Lord's Prayer...found it on Multiply many years ago now and fell instantly in Pure Love with it. Somehow it seems so appropriate for the energies surrounding us all now.

Radiant Blessings to You Julie and Very Gentle Hugs as well!

Thank you all for your loving words...makes my heart happy...
The friends...one, a young friend, who took a gun and shot himself in the head...the other a long time and dear friend who died from lack of proper medical care...collapsed on a Friday two weeks ago and died the next day..both took me to my knees...I was sure we would have a next time.
The world...it is hard to stay a conscience citizen and not experience sadness..so much needs fixing...
The prayer...beautiful words of Jesus..so much gentler than the English versions...
Thank (((you)))!!!...I will be around to read your blogs, see what's been on your minds...

Wondeful translation! From the prayer remember: "Radiant One: You shine within us,
outside us - even darkness shines - when we remember." Peace.
