......sisters

I want to share a quote I read yesterday...

The greatest gift we can give one another is rapt attention to one another's existence.

Julie, the quote is wonderful - as are your Sister pieces. The trailing white hems of their gowns, their pale pink faces, everything about them. Love them!

These dolls are delightful~ and I want to publicly thank you again for being a catalyst in my beginning to make art dolls ~ Although, my dolls are very different from yours ~ you were the catalyst! Many blessings and thanks ~ Hugs and Namaste, Carol
PS ~ Yes, my heart was warmed all over by the British singer ~ A friend had sent the pics & i wassoooooooooo happy for her!

I love the two sisters, and I love the quotation. How true both are in their separate ways.

It is a simple truth isn't it? I wonder how different the world might be if we all really and truly gave that kind of attention to one another...What kind of shift might happen in the world?...one thing for sure, we'd all really have to slow down!...hug, hug..and thank you all for the kind words about my girls.

And Snowbrush loved it. I actually try to do this, but I can only come close on my really good days.

Snowbrush,

I'm trying to do it too....really listen, eye contact, pay attention, be in the moment with another human...I guess it's a skill..and one worth honing.

Cheryl,
Thank you for coming to visit my blog and I'm really glad you enjoy it...I'm finding the process is good for me...really gets me thinking about what is important to me and how to share it...not to mention how cool it is to be meeting so many thoughtful and interesting people along the way....it's another blessing, the www is really an amazing tool....hug, hug..

I love these dolls. There is truly something very special about them. Little gauzy spirits. That is wonderful that they were purchased as a wedding gift. What a fitting purpose.
